PRIVACY POLICY
At Westbrook, we strive to protect your privacy and rights. We have set forth this statement to explain the information we collect from you, how we use that information and your legal rights regarding that information.
The processing of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). This legislation gives you more rights and imposes more obligations on organisations holding your personal data.

One of your rights is a right to be informed, which means we have to give information on how we use, share and store your personal information.

Cookies
This website uses cookies to collect information. Cookies are small data files which are saved on the devices you use for browsing the internet. They are used to “remember” when your device accesses our websites.

The cookies used on this website are used to distinguish users, for managing server traffic demand and to limit the number of requests made to the website. We also use a pop-up cookie to track who has already been shown the notice about our use of cookies so you don’t have to click on the message every time you use our website.

We don’t use cookies to collect or record any personal information about you.

What other information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you contact us via email, telephone or fax, send us an enquiry or an order. We also collect information from customer satisfaction surveys.

How will we use the information about you?
We use information about you to process your order or enquiry, manage your account or email you about products or pricing we think may be of interest to you. Supplier bank details will be stored as templates within the secure online banking platform used by the Group.

We will not pass on your information to third parties unless we are required to under the terms of our credit insurance policy (in which case we will share it on a confidential basis with our credit insurers), if there is a legal requirement to do so or if it is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities.

Access to your information and correction
We want to make sure your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask to view the information we have on record or to correct/remove information if it is inaccurate.

Changes to our privacy policy
We keep our privacy policy under regular review. Any changes we make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page. This policy was last reviewed and updated on 1st January 2024.
